We’re looking for someone who has seen massive scale of financial transactions. Our customers trust Integral with their entire business ledger and trust us to be the source of truth for their business data - so we need expertise in building innovative systems to help companies mitigate business risks while increasing the accuracy, validity, and insights they can derive from their financial data.
In this role, you will be responsible for:
Building a financial ledger from scratch alongside reconciliation systems and contributing to the development of a payments platform
Resolving complex and large datasets of transaction issues
Building reports that will increase the decision-making of their clients in no time
Designing and developing scalable backend systems to power an innovative fintech platform
Optimizing database performance and ensuring data integrity for critical financial operations
Collaborating with cross-functional teams to deliver high-quality solutions
Staying at the forefront of emerging technologies and industry trends.
… with the right skillset
5+ years of experience in backend development
Experience building large real-time transactional platforms
Experience managing large data sets, optimizing their presentation for financial institutions, and ensuring quality
Experience with database management
Experience with cloud platforms
Experience with IaC tools
Experience with containerization
Experience with source code management platforms
Have worked with large ETL pipelines and complex workflows
You enjoy working in startups and have been part of a team during its growth stage
Experience with frontend development, a plus
A passion for solving complex problems and building scalable systems
Excellent communication and teamwork skills
Previous experience working at a FinTech companies or building accounting systems
Enjoy in-office collaboration that comes from working with other engineers.

Typescript: (frontend + backend) NestJS for the backend, vanilla React frontend
Infra: GCP, Docker, Pulumi for IaC, Postgres with K8s, GitHub + actions for CI/CD
